The LIRE is launched Sunday, 20 August 2006 The Lao Institute for Renewable Energy has been registered as a non-profit organization. The founding members of this institute are Sunlabob, RESDA Lao, Xao Ban Group, National University of Laos NUOL, Technology Research Institute TRI, and the Lao Association for Organic Product Promotion LAOPP.
